The music that started Scottish Television for many years, reconstructed by Gavin Sutherland and played by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia.
ITV celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, and amidst the delving into the archives to evoke nostalgic memories, Gavin Sutherland reconstructed the music that opened transmissions from Scottish Television for over 25 years. Originally arranged by Ray Terry and performed by Geraldo and his Orchestra, Gavin conducts the Royal Ballet Sinfonia in a sparkling new recording made at Angel Studios in London.
