More infoGavin returns to Helsinki to work with Finnish National Ballet director Javier Torres on a brand new production of the classic tale of desire, betrayal and forgiveness. Adolphe Adam's legendary and dramatic score has been adapted and edited by Gavin to enhance the narrative, and he conducts the fabulous Finnish National Opera and Ballet Orchestra for eighteen performances spanning autumn 2025 and winter 2026.

More infoA world premiere programme for the Vienna State Ballet in the first season under the direction of Alessandra Ferri, Gavin makes his debut conducting the company in a triple bill of works, with live music involved in two - Heatscape, with Justin Peck's choreography matched with Bohuslav Martinu's first Piano Concerto (with soloist Yoko Kikuchi); and Yugen, where choreography by Sir Wayne McGregor is paired with Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms (featuring the Arnold Schonberg Choir). The other work is Twyla Tharp's iconic work In The Upper Room, to a score by Philip Glass.
Gavin conducts the Vienna State Opera Orchestra for all nine performances.
